Dear Friends,

Brad entered this race because he believes it's imperative that the voters of this district have the choice of a concerned moderate candidate on the ballot. So many of us have become disenchanted with partisan bickering and polarization. Furthermore, the current policy pursuits of the General Assembly are misguided and lack foresight. Economic realities cannot be denied, but we can not let that hinder our pursuit of equality and good government.

Negative rhetoric and hatred are not how we solve today’s complex problems. Brad will be a consensus builder who's able to bring all sides to the table. Compromise and understanding will be how we navigate through our challenges. And the challenges we have are great. As North Carolina voters, we must demand that our government focus on job creation, rural growth and development, advancing public education pursuits, and sustaining our distinct agricultural heritage.

This November, let's send Raleigh a message that the time for divisive politics is over. Let's elect someone who will bring a voice of pragmatism and moderation to the senate floor. This November, let's elect Brad Salmon!
